About Hannah

Hannah Hedrick brings a mix of energy, real-world experience, and deep community commitment to her role on the Tukwila City Council. She currently serves in Position 3, where she focuses on equity-driven policy, smart public safety solutions, and making sure the city’s budget actually works for the people who live here.

She holds a BA in Business Management with a focus in Project Management from the University of Arizona. In her day job, Hannah is an Implementation Project Manager for Connections Health Solutions, where she leads construction projects and manages the operational launch of behavioral health crisis centers. Her work is all about turning big, complex systems into something that helps people—especially when it comes to mental and behavioral health care.

Hannah’s professional experience bridges healthcare infrastructure, housing and construction, and municipal parks—giving her a real-world perspective that spans both operations and leadership. She’s been in the rooms where decisions are made and on the ground where those decisions play out. That dual lens shapes how she leads: people-first, clear-eyed, and focused on getting things done.

She’s led major expansion projects for Connections Health Solutions and Seattle Children’s Hospital, including building behavioral health rooms into the emergency department and launching 40,000 sq. ft. behavioral health crisis centers—often managing $30M+ budgets with complex public and private funding.

In housing, she’s coordinated multi-family revitalization projects with private HOAs and the Seattle Housing Authority to bring older communities back to life in ways that reflect what residents actually need.

At Seattle Parks and Recreation, she supported aquatic facility maintenance and helped plan new spray parks, security systems, and safety improvements across city parks.

Hannah approaches every project with a practical, people-focused mindset. She cares less about buzzwords and more about whether the work actually makes things better for the people it’s meant to serve.

Hannah’s commitment to Tukwila runs deep and stems from being inspired by how its residents constantly show up for one another. As a resident of Allentown, she helps amplify the voices of an underrepresented neighborhood, pushing for more inclusive decision-making and a more holistic, people-centered approach to city leadership. She’s also led the organization of Tukwila’s National Night Out, bringing neighbors together to build real connections with law enforcement, first responders, city staff, elected officials—and with each other.

Regionally, she serves on the SCA Emergency Management Advisory Committee and the Domestic Violence Initiative Task Force, focusing on how local governments can better respond to crisis, trauma, and public safety with compassion and accountability.

Mentorship and workforce development are core to her values. Hannah supports youth through Big Brothers Big Sisters’ high school mentoring program and promotes access to trade school and career paths through her work with the Associated General Contractors of America. She also volunteers with Seattle Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald House, supporting families navigating difficult medical journeys.

Hannah is running for election because her work on the council isn’t finished. She’s committed to making sure people who aren’t always heard have someone at the table looking out for them. She’s seen how strong and resilient Tukwila is—and she’s dedicated to helping build a city that’s inclusive, safe, and financially stable, where every resident feels seen, valued, and supported.
